Spartan Net Launches 1-Gigabit Fiber Internet Service at Belknap Bluffs Residential Development

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Oct. 3, 2018 - Spartan Net, Michigan’s leading Gigabit Fiber internet provider, will be deploying service to a new condo development in downtown Grand Rapids called Belknap Bluffs. The 35-unit residential development will feature Spartan Net’s 1-Gigabit Fiber internet and DIRECTV service.

The developers recently turned over the first units to condominium owners toward the beginning of August. The project is located on Fairview Avenue close to Downtown Grand Rapids Medical mile. It will feature a mix of one, two and three bedroom condominiums starting at $250,000. A unique feature for the development is the attached parking spaces and private balconies with breathtaking views of the Grand Rapids skyline

Only 7.2 percent of Michigan residents have access to fiber internet and it is now available at Belknap Bluffs. Residents will have Gigabit internet access with speeds up to 1,000 Megabits per second, which means download and upload instantly.

“Wirt-Rivette Group and Copper Rock Construction are truly developers who care! Condo HOA’s (Homeowner Association) and owners should not feel like they are forced to work with big telecom and cable companies. We will consult with associations and developers to come up with effective ways to make Ultra High-Speed Fiber internet available and affordable for all,” said principal and chief operating officer of Spartan Net, Richard Laing.

Spartan Net strives to go ‘One Step Further’ to provide the best experience for residents offering a multitude of support options, free service visits and no hidden fees.

“Working with the Spartan Net team has been fantastic! They truly go above and beyond and our new condo owners have complimented how seamless the setup process has been. High-speed internet and lower HOA’s was some of the feedback received by potential buyers in the planning stages of our development,” said Belknap Bluffs development representative, Eric Finnigan.
